Electro-fused seawater Magnesium Oxide is using chemical methods to extract production from the sea after 1800 ℃ calcination of magnesite, contains SiO2 ratio less, has a very high heat strength and slag resistance ability, for powdery and granular products, used for stainless steel, mild steel and alloy steel smelting induction furnace, furnace building materials. The product is easy to operate, stable in quality, long in service life, and has better comprehensive performance than electro-fused magnesia lining.
General products contain more than 95% MgO, up to 99.5%, with a volume density of 3.30 ~ 3.45g/cm3.The production cost is higher than that of natural magnesia, and the impurity boron needs to be removed, otherwise its high temperature performance will be affected.Due to its high purity, high density and high temperature performance, magnesia is mainly used to produce high quality refractory products.
