Features
Magnesia dolomite brick is a refractory material with high calcium and magnesium content made by synthetic process. Containing about 75% MgO and 8%~25% CaO, the lower the total amount of impurities (SiO2+Al2O3+Fe2O3), the better, generally less than 4%.The best is less than 2%.The main crystal phases were calcite and calcite, with a dark brown density of 3.3g/cm3.In addition to calcite and calcite, mineral composition includes tricalcium silicate (C3S), calcium ferrite (C2F) and calcium ferroaluminate (C4AF).When less impurity minerals, high purity can form MgO style - the direct combination of MgO style, and C2F, C4AF stars dotted filling in MgO style, the Angle between the CaO grain, thus increasing the high temperature performance of products during the steelmaking converter using lining at the beginning of the smelting by acidic slag erosion, CaO activity in the synthesis of sand is bigger than MgO style, first with slag SiO2 reaction to generate high melting point of C2S or C3S, and make the slag viscosity increases, prevent slag erosion to the inside of brick lining. At the same time, it can slow down the reaction between slag and main crystal phase-magnesia and prolong the service life of furnace lining. The microstructure of magnesite dolomite sand containing MgO about 75% and CaO 20%~25% showed that CaO was filled with tiny grains in the rank gap of magnesite crystals, similar to the most compact stack-up state, so that it had high temperature mechanical strength, high volume density and low porosity.Magnesite dolomite sand is a stable qualitative basic refractory when used to press the adobe, in order to prevent hydration must use anhydrous binder
